It’s always difficult to know what to do at the weekends with 2 young children that would keep them entertained for a few hours.
So recently, after much pondering, we joined the uk’s 2 largest historical site preservation organisations. Namely The National Trust and rejoined English Heritage.
You may wonder why we joined both, well both have lots of interesting places to visit so it covers both. Its also cheaper to join both than just one and get a family ticket to the other.
So yesterday we went to see Anglesey Abbey, a National Trust property located just outside of Cambridge. It was great for the kids as there were lots of activities for them to do. The house is now open all year unlike when i was young and went with my Grandmother.
